Farewell Spit Nature Experience

Discover the natural wonders, diverse landscapes and rich wildlife habitats of north-west Golden Bay. We hold a Department of Conservation concession to guide tours through this tightly regulated nature reserve. All tours are conducted in an ecologically sustainable manner. 6-hour tour explores the key features of Farewell Spit Nature Reserve and the breathtaking panoramic views of Pillar Point. 4-hour tour travels the length of Farewell Spit to the Lighthouse Reserve wildlife sanctuary and wetland of international significance.

Duration: 4 and 6 hour tours.
Operating hours: Tours depart daily (exact timing subject to tidal conditions).
Restrictions: Tours may be amended or cancelled due to road, tide or weather conditions.
