Now the borders are reopening, tourism operators are gearing up and reconnecting to their international audience. TRENZ Connect Online is a series of three events to be held this month to bring the industry up to speed.
Organised by Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA), the events are a valuable opportunity for participants to talk business and get the latest updates on the New Zealand and international tourism sector.
TIA’s new chief executive Rebecca Ingram will MC the event, a mixture of business-to-business appointments and presentations on topical issues from industry players including Tourism New Zealand, Air New Zealand and Tourism Minister Stuart Nash.
The three online events started on April 5 and will connect New Zealand tourism businesses with international travel trade buyers from the Americas, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Registrations for the April events have now closed but eligible businesses who missed out this time will be able to take part in future events.
